This year’s meeting will be featuring the following invited guests:

The Honorary Guest: His Excellency Aziz Mekouar, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Unites States of America

Invited Guest Speaker: James A. Saunders, Professor, Towson University, United States.

Invited Guest Speaker: Todd West, Assistant Professor, West Virginia University, United States.

Invited Guest Speaker: Haroon Hashmi, Scientist, Biogen Idec Inc., United States.

Invited Guest Speaker: Karim Berrada, Group Leader, Gene Targeting, United States.

Meeting Description
This meeting will bring together the Moroccan Scientific Community of North-America. We are expecting 80-100 participants mainly from the States and Canada . The primary goal of the meeting is to create a framework to strengthen the network of Moroccan Scientists by increasing contacts and collaborations. In addition, a well tailored scientific programme will expose the latest advancements in the fields of biomedicine, plant diseases, and novel technologies. A debate will focus on ‘Bridging Moroccan-American Research Cooperation’. Finaly, a new Board of Directors will be elected for the next term (June-2006 to May-2008).

The meeting will take place in the Conference Room at the RAMADA INN Newark International Airport.
